Orla Egan is a well reputed artist who is based in Donegal.
She is recognised as one of the principal painters who is currently working in the primitive style.
Growing up in the west of Ireland, Egan is profoundly influenced by all that was daily life in the Irish village.
Largely self-taught, this painter has exhibited regularly at the Royal Hibernian Academy, the Royal Ulster Academy and at Iontas.
Orla Egan's work is in the collections of OPW, ESB, AXA and The Glebe Gallery as well as many private collections.
