Piet Sluis

Piet Sluis is orignally from Holland but has been living in Ireland since the 1950s. He first made his name as a graphic designer and is also well-known as an illustrator of children's books. His reputation as an artist has been growing in recent years and he jokes that he became an "overnight success" when a retrospective in Dublin in 2001 proved a big seller. There are some beautifully detailed and coloured works in this exhibition.
