Ross Fine Art faces into its second year with a significant step up in the quality and diversity of its standing collection.
There are prints by some of the masters of the form, world-renowned artists such as Sean Scully, Howard Hodgkin and Lucian Freud.
There's exciting new work by the French artist Christine Cheim.
Irish art from the past 100 years is celebrated in its considerable diversity, such the colourful 'Fish Bait' by Tony O'Malley, the powerful 'Tree, Ardglass' by Dan O'Neill, the sculpture 'Among the Ruins' by Deborah Brown, and a pair of fine landscapes from along the Hudson by Derek Hill.
Donegal artists are well represented, including works by Jacinta Feeney, Trudie Mooney, Janet Ross, Wolfram Stumpf and Melita Denaro.
Artists whose reputations continue to develop in this 21st century are also featured, such as Eamon Coleman, Mike Fitzharris, Mike Mulcahy and John Kingerlee.
This is to mention only a small selection of the artists whose work can be seen in the four rooms of Ross Fine Art. Works from the standing collection can still be seen in at least two of the rooms at times of other shows in the gallery.
