Ross Fine Art
Caitlin Gallagher lives and works in Donegal. After studying Fine Art at University of Ulster, Belfast, she has worked diligently to develop her vision of the wild beauty that is Donegal. The path she has chosen is to develop an atmospheric, painterly abstraction through which one can experience the mood of this noble land. This is partly achieved by her use of vibrant, earthy colour.
Deserved recognition has come to her by way of numerous awards and prizes.
Caitlin has exhibited at Iontas, the nationally acclaimed smallworks exhibition. She has picked up several prizes at The Glebe annual show including the coveted “ Derek Hill Prize “.
Her work has been published in “ The Great Book of Gaelige “ and she has exhibited in Galway and Belfast.
Caitlin’s paintings have found their way into the collection of The Glebe Gallery and Donegal County Council Collection as well as numerous important private collections here and abroad.
Ross Fine Art is delighted to show a full exhibition of new work from Caitlin. As an abstract artist she is generating a lot of interest and there will be twenty very affordable new paintings in her solo show which opens Friday 25 February at 7pm with a wine reception.
